Sue Ann Brown Taylor

After Davis, I attended Allegheny College in Meadville, PA. Marriage after my junior year led to four years of living in Boston while my (then) husband finished his Ph.D. We then moved to Southampton, L.I. where he became a professor and I finished my degree at Southampton College of Long Island University. Our daughter was born in 1967 (she is now married with two children – a boy and a girl – and they live in Arizona). Divorce ensued as did an M.A. in Library Science. I became Head of Reference and Head of Technical Services at Rogers Memorial Library in Southampton where I still work. Recently I reduced my hours to four days a week and voluntarily resigned as Head of Reference. I am also re-married to a CPA who is now working only four days a week (unless it is tax season). Over the years I became interested in figure skating and now travel to at least two figure skating competitions a year. This hobby has increased my travel experiences, enabling me to visit many different parts of the country and even outside the USA. An, no, I do not skate myself – I am just a fan. My other big hobby is reading mysteries. Fortunately, as a librarian, I have access to lots and lots of books and authors and can indulge extensively in this pastime. I plan on reducing my hours more in the next couple of years and hope to spend more time in Arizona with my daughter’s family (and continue to travel to skating competitions).
