Susan Cortellessa Belfiglio
My life after A.B. Davis has taken quite a number of turns. I went to college locally, left after the first year to marry, had two children and went back to college to get a degree in teaching. I taught for one year when my husband’s position at a bank was transferred overseas to Greece. I lived in Greece for four years. I had the opportunity to travel and learn about the cultures of Greece, Europe, Africa and the Middle East. Upon my return to New York, we settled in Chappaqua. I divorced shortly after my return to the U.S.
I reentered the business world as a legal administrator, which ultimately led to my present position as a Vice President of Human Resources for a financial services firm in New York City. I currently live in White Plains. My children are grown and have blessed me with 3 grandsons whom I adore. Last year, I lost my companion of 16 years to cancer. My life has had highs and lows, as we all have experienced, yet, I look to the future with gusto.
