Sally Fiore Mulholland
After graduating A.B. Davis, I attended the Mandl School for Medical Secretaries and Technicians located in New York City. I got my first job working for a doctor in White Plains as his secretary and lab technician. In 1962 I married my husband, Jim. In 1965 we had our son, Jim Jr.; and in 1969 we had our daughter, Julie Ann. As my children grew older, I worked part-time for a pediatrician in Tuckahoe, New York. In 1980 Jim and I opened our won business in Milford, Connecticut. We were knows as transportation brokers: companies that had machinery they wanted moved from one state to another would call us and we would arrange the trucking to move their product. During the 21 years we did this job, our children gave us three beautiful grandsons. Evan, 14 years old from our son, Jim, and his wife, Lucy; and Parker, age 7 and Carson, age 2 from our daughter, Julie Ann, and her husband, Sal. Jim and I retired in 2001 and have spent the past six years motoring through all 48 states with Alaska and Hawaii still on our future itinerary. In May of 2007, we will be celebrating our 45th anniversary.
