Mount Vernon was a wonderful place to grow up. It was safe and easy to get around, first on roller skates in the street, next riding a bike to visit friends, then the F Bus to high school. A. B. Davis provided a good foundation and life long friends. Pairs define some of my life: two brothers, I’ve had two husbands, two sons, two step children, lived in two countries. In the 80’s I spent three and one-half years in Tokyo. My 38 year career as an interior designer continues to be challenging and interesting. My family has grown with the addition of nine grandchildren from two to 14 years old. All are exceptional, of course. Living in Armonk, I’m very active in community affairs as President of the Friends of the North Castle Public Library, involved with the Armonk Outdoor Art Show and a member of the Architectural Review Board. Since I live in Westchester, I often run into fellow Mt. Vernonites. What a great group we are……productive, active and involved. GO MAROON AND WHITE!!!
