A.B.Davis brings back so many wonderful memories, i.e. new school, friends, parties, fun times, supportive teachers, preparation for my future career. I, also, met the love of my life while attending A.B.Davis.
After graduation from A.B.Davis, I attended Hunter College in N.Y.C., majoring in Education. I was traveling down two paths – Academic, and Preparation for Family Life. While still in college, Marv and I were married. I taught school for a brief time, until my son was born.
My husband, an engineer, was relocated to Sacramento, CA. We enjoyed living in CA, and life was good. However, with life’s ups and downs, I was confronted with a serious medical problem, which required treatment back east. We relocated to Connecticut. With G-d’s help, treatment was successful, and I continued my studies, acquired my Master’s Degree in Education, and taught for over 30 years.
We, now, are retired and enjoy time with our grandchildren and visiting my Mom, who has fond memories of Mt. Vernon.
