Richard Zeitvogel

I presently live in North Carolina and have for the past 30 years.  I've been retired now for seven years and find that to be enjoyable and am in good health.  After I left Davis, I went to Long Island Ag and Tech, was then drafted in 1959 between schools (was going to go to vet school and had been accepted to Cornell at the time of my being drafted), ended up after the service in Germany, going to Cornell in 1961 and graduating in 1964.  Then I went to work for the Ford Motor Company until 1974 (after 5 transfers with the 6th on the horizon), worked for Terminex International for 3 years and ended up in Winston Salem, NC, starting up a beer and wine distributorship (wholesaler) until I sold it in 2000.  We have three sons and three granddaughters at this point.  It has been a pretty good life, and I hopefully will enjoy many more years.
